Machine manufacturing

Milling technology that supports our diet

Our two technologies (grinding and classification) cultivated through our business in the milling sector have evolved in a multifaceted way with our endless R&D efforts.

A milling professional

Top domestic market share for 120 years in the milling industry

Ever since Meiji Machine manufactured and delivered Japan’s first domestic milling plant in 1905, we have been supporting domestic milling businesses for roughly 120 years. During this time, various new domestic needs have arisen due to the diversification of food. Such needs include greater variety of flour, production and plants of larger scale, improvement in production quality, automation of production processes, and reduced environmental load such as CO2 emissions. We have been satisfying such needs through our solid technical capabilities. Our track record accumulated over 120 years has allowed us to have top market share in Japan, and our products receive high customer praise.

Meiji Machine supports various applications and fields, including the food industry (milling, brewing, oil refining, spices, etc.) as well as chemical and biotechnology fields.

The grinding and classification technologies of Meiji Machine have constantly evolved over the years and can respond to the needs of foodstuff manufacturing processes with reliable precision. A large number of our raw material processing machines is used not only for milling wheat, buckwheat, rice, etc. but also by wide range of food companies (soy sauce, beer, etc.). By leveraging the experience and know-how of food material processing technology, we also support various other application and fields besides the food industry, such as the chemical and biotechnology fields.
