This automatic bag-opener saves energy and simplifies the work involved in opening bags of particulate products. It not only has a comprehensive range of conventional dispensing functions, but it was developed in pursuit of simplicity, safety and a maintenance-free design by bringing together all of our technologies in handling particulate matter.
A) A special vibrating plate ensures complete discharging of bag contents.
B) Only the underside of the bag is cut open to prevent contamination by pieces of paper and other contaminants.

Bags that are to be opened are fed sideways into the bag-opening machine (so that the stitching at the top and bottom of the bag are parallel to the direction in which it is fed into the machine), and they are cut open by two blades inside the machine. These cutters are also set parallel to the direction of feeding, and the bags are cut at positions that are around 60 and 70% relative to their height. The ends of the bag are lifted so that it assumes a "W" position, and it moves while being vibrated allowing the particulate matter to discharge from the two openings. The emptied bags then fall to the floor at the back of the machine.
